A Journey Back to Catch You Up

We are the Engler's. We are just starting a blog to record the events of a season of waiting that is currently taking place in our life right now.

We have been married for 4 1/2 years and have been trying to conceive our first child since May 2005. We were officially diagnosed with infertility in January 2006 after obtaining the results of a semenanalysis. We began this uncertain season with silence, prayer, and repression. I have always said, "If it can wait until tomorrow, let it". And so, 1 month of "Can we talk about this later" led to 20. However, after 20 months of praying and pouring our hearts out at Christ's alter, we decided to take a proactive step ouside the box of silence and stop repressing our emotions to seek the company of other Christian couples who are and have been through this difficult journey.

In August, we started attending a class at our church called "In His Time". And, needless to say, we haven't quit talking about infertility, babies, discipline, instruction, adoption, and many other related subjects since we started attending the class.

This blog has been started to glorify our Savior, Jesus Christ. I pray that His name will be blessed as His Spirit prompts me to type.
